职人电影，日本拍出了《入殓师》，《编舟记》，韩国拍出了这部《兹山鱼谱》，而历史悠久5000年的中国，却几乎未有一部能拿出手的作品。本片的珍贵，不只是演绎了丁若铨“流放着书”的传奇故事，更在于它从唯物主义辩证的解释了“科学”和“信仰”对于个人和国家的意义。这在当今，都如闪电般警醒后人“死读书”不如“格物致知”。片中，青鸟从海胆中诞生，隐喻丁若铨所想的“以民为本，人人平等”的新思想会在荆棘中破茧而出，涅槃冲天。也指昌大通过做官理解师父，知道仕不可救国，最终辞官回乡，放弃了物质的荣华，重拾精神富足获新生。结尾黑山岛变为彩色，提示电影里200年前的时空结束了，斯人已逝，但如今黑山岛仍在，那些牧心育人之"术早已过时，但《兹山鱼谱》作为科学着作，到如今仍能发挥它的作用。中国电影何时才能诞生自己的《鱼谱》呢？

之"所以喜欢《柔情史》就是因为她处理这个棘手的题材但拍得一点都不令人讨厌，《春潮》里的这段关系实在是太烈了，一点「柔情」余地都没有。那段独白不能说是矫情，是剧作的必要，我和郝蕾的理解类似，它可能根本没有发生，这段话母亲是永不可听见的，又是女儿排练了千百遍永远被铭刻下来的。最后春潮的意象，令人想到《百年孤独》何塞·阿尔卡蒂奥死后不断蔓延的血线。
